Library

This project is connected to the Black Art Space. I believe there is so much that our community has been limited to. Building a library that is populated with books by Black authors will speak truth to mystery. It will allow us to reconcile, learn to unlearn and provide the space to discover unknown stories.

In this space, we're free to share, connect, learn, study, teach and be. In this space, we are immersed in Black art, culture and identity. In this space, no one questions who we are or whom we want to be. This space is for the young, the old, the curious, the skeptic, the optimistic and even the cynic. Being Black is more than just one thing. It is skin deep, and as a community, we need to accept the various ways that make us, us. Knowledge defines and protects us. But most importantly, we are all we got.
